NEW PLATFORM TO PROMOTE LOCAL STUDENT ARTISTS

Once again, we are broadening our support for local artists, this time focusing on student artists, the NEXT GENERATION! We plan to showcase work from young artists from our local public schools, organizations, and our own G53 student artists in our G53 ALT Exhibit Space at 24 Colony Street, Meriden, CT.
We are launching the program in April 2024 with an exhibit by Lincoln Middle School Students of Rachel Ash and Aurora Matraku. Twelve Meriden Students are currently exhibiting! |

WHAT IS G53 ALT?

G53 ALT is a streetside exhibit space on Colony Street in Meriden. Located on the first floor of 24 Colony Street, directly across from the Meriden Train Station, the space features rotating exhibits by local artists. Exhibiting artists are also promoted on the Gallery’s website and social media. Artists who are interested in exhibiting can submit an application.
We are also scheduling student art exhibits in this space. Teachers who are interested in exhibiting student work can contact us by email. |
