53 COLONY STREET: HISTORIC BUTLER PAINT BUILDING
The Arts & Crafts Association of Meriden purchased the Butler Paint Building at 53 Colony Street in June 1981. Built by John F. Butler in 1894, the building is a Romanesque and Renaissance Revival Style Building listed in the National Registry as in the Colony Street – West Main Historic District.
This historic 127 year old building has 3 main floors, plus a basement and attic, and includes:
