Gallery 53 is delighted to announce the 2022 Irma P. Morse Art Scholarship award winners!
The scholarship is intended to aid a Meriden high school student with a good academic record and demonstrated community involvement who plans to pursue an art career. Besides being accepted as a full-time student at a recognized college, university, or community college, applicants submit a portfolio to be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
Generally, the Scholarship Committee awards one or two scholarships each year, depending on the number of applicants. This year, the committee decided to award an additional auxiliary scholarship due to the outstanding qualifications of the applicants. Awards were presented at Gallery53 on June 11, 2022, by the Scholarship Committee, Linda Cioffi and Diantha Morse.
