See how regional artists exploit the creative potential of textiles to create new, exciting and meaningful works. The show will be judged by well-known Connecticut artist Janet Leombruni; 4 prizes will be awarded. Our previous fiber art shows have featured stunning layered, stitched visual works that are an eye-opener. From its roots as a practical craft, quilting has evolved into an art form in its own right. And contemporary fiber artists incorporate many materials and techniques to create new, unexpected art forms. Don't miss participating in this exciting exhibit!
The Fabric of Our Journey: the 2022 Fiber Art Show will be on exhibit in the gallery through the month of May. Plus, you'll have the option of being included in the virtual exhibit and social media. To be included in the online exhibit and social media, please submit your work digitally after you deliver your physical pieces to the gallery.
