A COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO BLACK LIVES MATTER
SUBMIT ENTRIES: June 27 - July 7
ON EXHIBIT: July 7 - August 28
ON EXHIBIT: July 7 - August 28
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS*: All media accepted. Work does not need to be framed. No entry fees.
Art is unifying and healing. During this tumultuous time, we're encouraging everyone (calling all ages!) to express their grief and support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Demonstrate Meriden's unity and our positive steps towards healing with your artistic contribution. Submit your pieces* to the Gallery for display in our windows, both facing Colony St and the Green. Show the community how you feel individually, and at the same time, we will collectively make a statement!
This show will run through July and August. Artwork can be dropped off during regular business hours. We have a limited number of large sheets of paper if anyone needs them, free of charge. Work does not need to be framed, all media welcome! Late entries are also accepted! Please label artwork with your name and contact information if you'd like the piece returned to you!
Questions? Send us an email and we'll respond promptly!
