AWARD WINNERS
HONORABLE MENTION
JUDGE'S STATEMENT
There are certainly more great images than there are winning categories thus making my task of judging that much more difficult. Kudos to all the artist for great creativity.
Ellie Bender – Best in Show - #5 Mark Tegtmeier
I very much enjoy this photograph for it’s simplicity, clean framing presentation and pastel Tonality.
1st Prize – #2 Lynn Fisher
This image continually drew my attention because of the simplicity and perspective of the composition. I especially enjoyed the shallow depth of field from sharp to soft as one’s eye scanned the photo.
2nd Prize - #27 Wendy Manciagli
Great creativity and well executed compositing techniques to create a fun and unique image.
3rd Prize # 17 John Lawler
The quality framing presentation with a simple by eye catching subject kept me continually drawn to the image for another look!
Honorable Mention #1 Ray Gawlak
Upon entering the Gallery my eyes were drawn to the luminous back lit feather of the bird in flight. Great motion and feel to the photo.
Honorable Mention - #3 Donna Owens
This is a wonderful collection of curves, lines and colors that brought wonderful motion to the eye as one views the image.
Honorable Mention - #15 Sasyasadi Chowdhory
A well executed B&W image with strong dark densities to offset the silhouetted shapes of the tree and stone markers.
