“Art does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes visible.”

We constantly seek to support new artists, new voices, new work. By dedicating an exhibit to abstract art, we hope to attract those new voices as well as provide exposure for our member artists' more experimental, less traditional work. Paintings, drawings, photographs, and digital compositions will be accepted. Sculpture may also be accepted at the gallery's discretion (call or email the gallery to check the specifications of individual pieces).
Framed Fantasies: the 2024 Abstract Art Show will be on exhibit in the gallery through the month of April. Plus, you'll have the option of being included in the virtual exhibit and social media. Detailed entry information is below.

ABOUT ANY NORDBY
Amy Nordby grew up surrounded by the Arts and Sciences which gave her a passion for both.
She attended Cheshire Academy where she developed a love for painting and psychology. Inspired by the works of Dali and Titian she began painting Surrealism. At Franklin Pierce University she received a BA in Graphic Communications.
Shortly after graduating, she started working for a local wholesale printer. She perfected her artistic talents moving from Surrealism into Abstraction. She became lead Graphic Artist at the printer until leaving in 2012.
In 2015, she started painting full-time and began exhibiting online, nearby, and abroad. An active member of Gallery 53 for 9 years, her Buddhist philosophy and admiration for science and nature is evident in her work. She is devoted to creating ethereal, peaceful, and inspiring works of art.
