Gallery 53's Annual Fall Art Show generally features an eclectic mix of subjects, media, and techniques from regional artists. Paintings, drawings, photographs, and digital compositions will be accepted. Entries will be judged by well-known Connecticut artist John Massimino. Nine cash prizes will be awarded.
The 96th Annual Fall Art Show will be on exhibit in the gallery throughout the month of October It will also be online as a virtual exhibit on this website. If your work is for sale, we can add it to our online store while the exhibit is in the gallery (NOTE: Gallery 53 takes a 30% commission). Additionally, we will feature your work on our social media. To be included in the virtual exhibit and online store, please forward a digital file(s) to Gallery 53 (see "SUBMIT DIGITAL IMAGES" below).

ELIGIBILITY
- Paintings (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media), Photography, Drawings, and Digital Compositions
- Limit 2 entries
- All entries must be ORIGINAL - yourdesign and composition from your own sketches and photos as well as your own execution and not previously shown at Gallery 53
- All entries must be wired and ready for hanging
- NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS
- Framed work more than 42” in width accepted at discretion of a selection committee
- Labels must be completed, signed and accompany each piece
- A 30% commission will be taken on sold items
- NO price on request
- Not for sale is OK
- Pick Up: Friday, Nov. 6th 12 -3 & Sat. Nov. 7th 10-1pm
- All work must be picked up within 30 days of shows end or will become Gallery 53 property
- ACAM assumes no responsibility for loss or damage sustained to any piece at any time. Every reasonable effort will be taken to prevent damage or loss

ABOUT JOHN MASSIMINO
Born in New Haven Connecticut, John Massimino received his A.A. Degree from Quinnipiac College, and his B.F.A Degree from Hartford Art School. Additionally, he has studied privately with Professor Dean Keller at Yale University.
John has traveled throughout the continental United States, Italy and Hawaii as an artist, teacher, lecturer, and juror. He taught at Paier College of Art in Connecticut for over 20 years and is currently a visiting professor. He is also the Past President of the New Haven Paint and Clay Club.
John has had numerous one man shows as well as group exhibitions in the United States and Italy. Travel to Italy, Israel, and the United States has greatly influenced his work. His next trip will take him Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus.
Massimino is a member of many outstanding art associations, as well as listed in Who's Who in the East, USA, The Dictionary of International Biography, Men of Achievement and is part of the NASA Team of Artists.
Presently, John conducts critique classes in Connecticut as well as workshops in creative design, color, drawing, painting and advance studies of the past masters as a tool for learning.

- Images should be 1000 x 1000 pixels or larger and less than 250MB
- Images should be 72 dpi
- Files should be in JPEG format
- You may send a Dropbox link
- Gallery 53 reserves the right to decline to use images that are not acceptable quality
