This class is perfect for first-time potters! Coil building is a simple technique that allows you to hand-form any shape you like. In this 3-part workshop, Instructor Ariana D”Avanzo will teach you the basics of coil-building, You will learn to form a base, walls, and style by combining clay coils. You will roll the clay into coils, stacks the coils together, and join them to create a vase. You will start coiling with confidence, and come away with a new vase - for yourself, or to give as a gift!
