Alex Ranniello (Alexander Califournia) is a mixed media studio painter whose forte is portraiture & figure painting. Ranniello’s paintings embody the highest spirits of
summertime capturing the pinnacle of the human spirit. He typically uses
bright luminous colors and robust open ended brushstrokes, all encapsulated by graphically vivid contours. The characters he paints are set in cheerful, tropical, and warm summer scenery immersed by juicy fresh fruit, pool figurines, and other elements emblematic of warm weather.
