Felted Pet Portrait - Summer 2022
Saturday July 16th, 10:00 am – 1:00pm

Immortalize that adorable pet of yours with a felted pet portrait! Participants in this class will learn to use a special barbed needle to turn the softest of materials, wool roving, into portraits of their pets. Participants should bring a photo or other image of a pet to work from. They are also invited to bring any extra hair from a pet, if available, as some pet hair felts quite readily. The teacher will supply all other materials for a $20 fee.
Diane Cadrain is a Connecticut artist who uses fiber to create unique and beautiful images. Her work includes hand-painted fabric, felted fibers, machine piecing and quilting, hand embroidery, and beading.
