An Autumn Story - pewter accent frame
As the autumn season progressed in 2020, the summer drought produced varied and often disappointing colors to the ridges surrounding Meriden. I began to accept that the season’s color would not fully unfold.
When an early cold snap brought an early snowfall, I headed to Hubbard Park to capture what I hoped would be a unique early winter scene.
What I found was a kaleidoscope of color painting the backdrop of the castle ridge. Like sugar frosting sprinkled on a colorful display of cupcakes, the trees burst forth their story of the autumn season...their finale before settling quietly into a winter slumber.
“An Autumn Story ” is a 17x7” photo framed to 20x10” in a beautiful high quality black wood frame with a pewter lip and smooth finish.
This photograph is printed and signed by Peter Wnek. It is printed traditionally on museum grade cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks and is set under glass in the frame. It does not incorporate the glazing technique like many of my other images.
