Meriden Green - After the Spring Rain
It was early morning before sunrise just after a night of light rain. The May morning light revealed the lush green grass and foliage at the Meriden Green followed by the varied shades of brick of the downtown landscape.
The clearing sky and leading lines of the bridge overhead provided a perfect frame to help the eye walk into the scene of our town buildings in the distant. The quiet New England hometown ambience unfolded before me.
“Meriden Green - After the Spring Rain ” is a 17x7” photo framed to 20x10” in a beautiful high quality black wood frame with a pewter lip and smooth finish.
This photograph is printed and signed by Peter Wnek. It is printed traditionally on museum grade cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks and is set under glass in the frame. It does not incorporate the glazing technique like many of my other images.
