The Meriden Green on a Winter Morning
It was early morning before sunrise at the tail end of a late night winter snow storm. I found myself standing behind the stand of stately trees and gazing at the Meriden Green as the first light of the day began to illuminate the scene. The silhouette of the trees provided a perfect frame to help the eye walk into the scene of the park bridge and our town buildings in the distant. The winter Americana scene unfolded before me.

This photograph is printed and signed by Peter Wnek. Peter prepares and protects the photograph using an acrylic glaze over the image thus requiring no glass with the framing. This technique results in a painterly look to the photograph.
