The Boathouse on Black Pond - Winter
The boathouse on the shore of Black Pond was a landmark presence for fishermen in Meriden for decades. With the boat house now gone, this image represents a bygone era of Meriden. I was fortunate to photograph this icy winter scene in 2007 before the structure was demolished.
“The Boathouse on Black Pond - Winter” is a 12x8” photo framed to 15x11” in a beautiful high quality black wood frame with a pewter lip and smooth finish.
This photograph is printed and signed by Peter Wnek. Peter prepares and protects the photograph using an acrylic glaze over the image thus requiring no glass with the framing. This technique results in a painterly look to the photograph.
