VOLUNTEER: Children's Mask Making Workshop
Gallery 53 Needs Your Help!

Our mask maker extraordinaire, Claire Forcier, has come up with a fundraising idea which our Meriden community can help with. Claire has offered to head up a Children’s BACK-TO-SCHOOL MASK MAKING WORKSHOP FUNDRAISER. We need volunteers to:
Volunteers will make children’s masks as a group and Gallery 53 will sell them at a reduced price. This will happen the end of July, we plan refreshment and great conversation as we work. We will have several dates that people can come to the Gallery and help cut fabric, cut elastic, iron, do simple machine stitching and advanced machine stitching. Several of the steps do not require any sewing skills. The only thing we will require is that all volunteers social distance, WEAR MASKS and have fun!
