Working in black and white forces the artist to focus on the essentials - composition, contrast, negative and positive space. Time and time again, we've seen this singular focus lead to exceptional works of art. That's why we've decided to showcase black and white work in our February art exhibit.
Ebony & Ivory Art Show is a themed show highlighting black and white works. Pieces may also incorporate a splash of color, but should be essentially black and white. Paintings, drawings, photographs, and digital compositions will be accepted. Four prizes will be awarded.
The Ebony & Ivory Art Show will be on exhibit in the gallery through the month of February. Plus, you'll have the option of being included in the online store, and social media. To be included in the online exhibit, store and social media, please submit your work digitally after you deliver your physical pieces to the gallery (NOTE: Gallery 53 takes a 40% commission).

Gallery 53/ACAM assumes no responsibility for loss or damage sustained to any piece at any time. Every reasonable effort will be taken to prevent damage or loss.
Your signature on the entry form signifies your agreement with the terms above.
- Members $25.00 1st entry, $5.00 2nd entry
- Non-Member $30.00 1st entry, $5.00 2nd entry
FRAMING/PRESENTATION
- All pieces must be wired and ready for hanging.
- NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS
- Framed work more than 42” in width accepted at discretion of a selection committee
- Labels must be completed, signed and accompany each piece. Each label has 2 parts, (top and bottom) containing the same information
- Affix the label to the lower left-hand corner of the work on the back of the frame. One half of the label will extend below the frame
SALES COMMISSION
- A 40% commission will be taken on sold items
- NO price on request.
- Not for sale is OK
