The Giant Daffodil Auction is Meriden at it’s finest! First, you have 2 local nonprofits teaming together to raise operating funds for their respective groups! Both groups have been serving Meriden for over 100 years, are privately run, powered by volunteer labor, and supported by donations from the community! WIth the COVID-19 situation, both organizations are critically short of funds to maintain their operations. Second, you have community-minded local artists creating - and donating - some uniquely Meriden artwork to help these 2 organizations close their budget gaps. Third, and most importantly, there’s YOU - our community supporters and donors. Your bid on either or both of our auction items will help generate interest and excitement for the auction, and ultimately lead to raising a significant sum of money to help The Meriden Humane Society and Gallery 53! THANKS, Meriden!
