Do you want to try drawing or painting but you don’t have the confidence to take a class? Instructor Edward Rosado’s approach breaks art down into basics that you can easily master and be successful. This introductory class focuses on:
- drawing shapes and forms
- understanding shadows and perspective
- working from live subjects and studio props
- and more!
This class is designed for:
- Middle School Children / Teens / Adults
- Spanish Speaking / Bilingual
Materials provided (drawing pads, charcoal pencils, pastels).

ABOUT EDWARD ROSADO
Teaching Artist Edward Rosado studied commercial art and graphic design at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. He worked at Hartfield & Zody’s Retail Dept. Stores and was hired as Art Director at Garwood Mills in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Moving to New Britain, CT he was Art Director at The D&L Dept. Stores of New Britain.
Mr. Rosado, who is fluent in Spanish and English, has been a teaching artist for over 10 years. He has taught at numerous Connecticut Senior Centers as well as the Arts Center Killingworth and Spectrum Art Gallery. |
