At Gallery 53, our mission is to make art accessible to everyone in our community! One of the main ways we do that is by welcoming people into our gallery for classes, paint parties, and private art gallery events /rentals. No matter your age, interest, or ability, we're sure to have a class that’s perfect for you! And if you’re looking to schedule a private party, contact us to discuss your custom event!

In accordance with State of Connecticut policy, Gallery 53 leaves face mask wearing to the individual's discretion. However, class and workshop instructors may ask attendees to wear face masks and/or provide proof of vaccination. We also ask anyone with a temperature or flu-like symptoms to stay home. Expert Instructor Bonnie Potter will guide you through your oil, acrylic, or pastel project with instruction on color mixing, drawing and composition. Her supportive approach creates a positive environment where beginners and experienced artists can build their skills. This pay-as-y0u-go class is ongoing throughout the year.
