ART 4 KIDS CONTEST RULES
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest starts on Thursday March 26, 2020 at 12:00:00 A.M. ET and ends Sunday May 31, 2020 at 11:59:59 P.M. ET.
ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to all children 12 years old and younger who live in Meriden, Wallingford, Berlin, Cheshire, North Haven, Southington, or Middlefield.
IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
Entries should be photographed by a digital camera or cell phone. Files should be high resolution:
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
Email entries to [email protected]. OR post pictures in Discussion section of Art4Kids Online Art Contest Event on Facebook.
Use the title of the artwork as the email subject line. Email should include attached picture, child’s first name and last initial, age, and town of residence, along with Parent/Guardian's full name and email address.
All entries should be submitted by the child’s parent/guardian
PRIZES
At the end of the designated submission period, Gallery 53’s official panel of judges will select the winners.
The following prizes will be awarded:
Winners' work will be featured on our website and social media. Winning entries will be displayed in the window of the G53 Gift Shop at 53 Colony Street, Meriden, Connecticut, when the Gallery re-opens.
All entries may be posted on Gallery 53's website and social media accounts, and displayed in the window of the G53 Gift Shop.
RULES & REGULATIONS
This Contest is void where prohibited.
Contest is subject to change or cancellation without notice.
You must have internet access in order to enter the Contest.
By submitting, parents/guardians grant permission for their children’s artwork, first name and last initial, age, and school (if submitted) to be put online or printed and displayed in our store window.
Multiple entries will be permitted, using the same email address and identity – but only one prize per person will be awarded.
All entries must be the entrant’s original, unpublished, and previously unproduced work. If Gallery 53 is notified that any element of an entrant’s entry infringes upon the rights of another person, the entry will be disqualified from the contest.
Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, violent, hateful, slanderous or libelous.
Participants who enter online should keep their original artwork. Gallery 53 may ask entrants to deliver or mail their original artwork to be displayed at Gallery 53.
After a submission is emailed to Gallery 53, Gallery 53 has the right to use the entrant’s first name and last initial, age, town of residence, and publication of artwork in all media for advertising and promotional purposes, as well as on social media and their website.
By participating in the contest, each entrant also grants Gallery 53 the right to contact the entrant’s parent / guardian regarding the contest.
At the end of the designated submission period, Gallery 53’s panel of judges will select winners.
Winners’ pictures will be posted on Gallery 53’s website and social media and displayed in their storefront window at 53 Colony Street in Meriden, Connecticut when the gallery re-opens. All entries may be posted on Gallery 53's website and social media and displayed in the storefront window.
Each winner’s parent/guardian will be informed that their child has won, and how to receive their child’s prize.
Submissions will not be returned or acknowledged.
Gallery 53 shall have no liability for any submission that is lost, intercepted, or not received by Gallery 53 for any reason.
Although participants may enter on Facebook and Instagram, this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
Bt entering through Facebook or Instagram, you parent/guardian agrees to a complete release of Facebook or Instagram and Gallery 53. Entrants also acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. Sharing is encouraged but not required.
