Gallery 53 offers ongoing art classes from September through June in our spacious, well-lit second floor studio. Sessions are available on a pay-as-you-go basis, preregistration is not necessary, walk-ins are welcome! If you're interested, we recommend calling Gallery 53 (203.235.5347) in advance to confirm availability. Attendees bring their own materials.

Bonnie will guide you through your individual oil, acrylic, or pastel project, offering concrete guidance on color mixing, drawing and composition. Her supportive approach creates a positive environment where beginners and experienced artists alike can continue to build their skills. |

$10 per session for members / $15 for non-members Monitor: Ellie Bender There’s nothing like the challenge of drawing or painting from life to help you learn to see and grow as an artist! That's why Gallery 53's Portrait Classes feature live models that rotate every 3 weeks. Artists are free to paint or draw using the medium of their choice in these 2 11/2 hour studio sessions. There is no instructor, but these weekly sessions offer you an excellent opportunity to sharpen your observation and rendering skills. |
