“Art does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes visible.” - Paul Klee, Creative Credo
Why an abstract art show? Our exhibiting artists are an eclectic bunch that includes traditional realists as well as non-traditional artists whose work traverses many styles and really defies definition. An abstract show is a way to showcase and celebrate the work of these non-traditional artists. It’s also an opportunity for artists who are amazing, talented realists to use their skills in color, composition, and expression in new ways.
Besides being on display in the gallery throughout April, the 2021 Abstract Art Show will also be showcased on Gallery 53’s website and social media.
