As part of Gallery 53’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Imagine America! Student Art Exhibit invites young artists to share their creative visions of our nation. Made possible through the generous support of the Meriden Rotary Club, this exhibit encourages students ages 10 to 18 to reflect on America’s culture, history, and heritage and express their ideas through art. Students are invited to explore what America means to them—its landscapes, people, traditions, communities, and future—and translate those ideas into meaningful artistic works. Special prizes will be awarded in 2 age groups: 10 to 13 and 14 to 18.
