Felted Landscape Class - Winter 2022
Saturday February 26th, 10:00 am – 4:00pm
+ $20 materials
Using a photograph as reference, participants will use the softest of materials, wool roving, as if they were paint, along with a special barbed needle to create a felted landscape on a backing of raw silk. Students may bring their own landscape photographs (recommended size 8" x 10"), or use one provided by the instructor. Instructor provides materials, participants pay instructor a material fee day of class.
Diane Cadrain is a Connecticut artist who uses fiber to create unique and beautiful images. Her work includes hand-painted fabric, felted fibers, machine piecing and quilting, hand embroidery, and beading.
