Working in black and white forces the artist to focus on the essentials - composition, contrast, negative and positive space. Time and time again, we've seen this singular focus lead to exceptional works of art. Which is why we're showcasing black and white work in our February art exhibit . . . with just a pop of color!
JUDGE'S STATEMENT
"It was an honor to be asked to judge your black and white show. There were many creative and interesting works of art to consider and choose from. I looked for values, hard and soft lines, originality, and creativity. It was a challenging and enjoyable responsibility, and I really wish I could have given awards to many more of the works."
