Before we segue into Summer, celebrate Spring at our “Birds & Blooms” Art Exhibit! This exhibit focuses on art inspired by the beauty of the natural world, specifically birds and flowers. The exhibit will showcase paintings, drawings, mixed media, photographs, digital compositions and sculpture related to this theme. We look forward to sharing this celebration of art and inspiration!

LOSS/DAMAGE
Gallery 53/ACAM assumes no responsibility for loss or damage sustained to any piece at any time. Every reasonable effort will be taken to prevent damage or loss.
Work submitted must be appropriate to be viewed by visitors of all ages, including children. The Gallery 53 Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any work that is not appropriate for our audience.
Your signature on the entry label form signifies your agreement with the terms above.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Limit 2 entries
- Paintings (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media); drawings, photography, digital compositions and sculpture
- All entries must be original - your design & composition (from your own sketches and photos) as well as your own execution.
PRESENTATION
- All entries must be ready to hang: framed and wired and ready for hanging. No SAWTOOTH.
- Work more than 42" wide accepted at discretion of selection committee
- Entry Labels will be available at the gallery when you deliver your work. A label must be completed, signed and accompany each piece. Each label has 2 parts, (top and bottom) containing the same information.
- Affix the label to the lower left-hand corner of the work on the back of the frame. One half of the label will extend below the frame
SALES COMMISSION
- A 30% commission will be taken on sold items
- NO price on request.
- Not for sale (NFS) is OK

When you enter the exhibit online, you will be asked for the following information:

- G53 prefers JPEG images, 72 dpi
- NOTE: The name, title(s) and selling price(s) you enter on the form will appear in our exhibit program. Please be sure your information is correct before you submit. We may not be able to accomodate requests to change titles, prices, etc.
- Gallery 53 reserves the right to decline to use images that are not acceptable quality

JUDGE: PAUL IEZZI
|
Paul Iezzi is a noted Connecticut Artist and Art Educator. He holds a BA in Fine Art/Painting from Hofstra University, and MA in Painting from Indiana University as well as a 6th Year Degree (GLSP) in Painting/Drawing and Teacher Certification in Art for K-12 from Wesleyan University. Mr. Iezzi is a Visiting Instructor in Painting/Drawing at Wesleyan University, and Adjunct Instructor in Painting/Drawing/Art History at Capital Community College, Middlesex Community College, and Manchester Community College. He is also a Creative Therapist at the Children and Adolescent Units at Mount Sinai Hospital and teaches Youth and Adult Painting and Drawing at Farmington Valley Arts Center. Beyond his work as an art educator, Paul Iezzi has exhibited extensively throughout Connecticut and across the country. Learn more about Mr. Iezzi on his website.
