We constantly seek to support new artists, new voices, new work. By dedicating an exhibit to abstract art, we showcase those new voices as well as provide exposure for our member artists' more experimental, less traditional work. Paintings, drawings, photographs, digital compositions and sculptures are included in this diverse 70+ piece exhibit. Transforming Reality: the 2026 Abstract Art Show will be on exhibit in the gallery through the month of April.
JUDGE'S STATEMENT
"It was a pleasure jurying This diverse collection of abstract works. Each piece Brings a story dripping with emotion and unique interpretation of the environment around them. Many works have an explosive energy requiring the viewer to step back and comprehend what is written before them. Others, wield a softness and delicacy that invites the viewer in- invoking an intimate personal symbiotic connection.
These four award winners really shine the brightest In a number of ways; Each piece treats their surface in a unique way while equipping an incredible attention to detail In the process of art-making. Each work selected inscribes the author’s lived experience. As I took the time to sit in front of these works, each piece of art provokes my soul in its own special way amidst this Spring season of renewal." - Alex Ranniello
